The word Halutzim means Pioneers. Today’s lone soldiers are the ultimate pioneers, acting as trailblazers for their families, their communities, and the global Jewish society.
The events of October 7th changed everything. Across modern Haredi, Reform, and Religious Zionist communities alike, there is a profound awakening. A realization that it is time to "get under the stretcher" and actively participate in the security of the State of Israel.
The youth are ready.They possess the bravery, motivation, and drive to pull us forward. Project Pioneers is our direct answer to their call to action.

We inspire and increase the number of Jewish youth answering the call to serve, guiding them as they step into their journey of service.
HOW IT WORKS
The Journey of Connection
STEP 1
Define Your Story
Your community decides the narrative you want to tell — combat or non-combat, male or female, a local hometown hero, or a soldier we match to your criteria.
STEP 2
Sponsor the Vision
The community sponsors the production of a high-quality, professional video spotlighting the chosen lone soldier.
STEP 3
Expert Production
Connections Israel brings the soldier's personal story, challenges, and triumphs to life on screen.
STEP 4
Inspire the Classrom
Students watch the meaningful video, sparking deep connection and classroom dialogue.
STEP 5
Build a Personal Bond
Establish a direct correspondence relationship. Students can ask questions and gain a personal guide if they choose to follow a similar path.
STEP 6
On the Ground Impact
Communities have the option to directly support the soldier's unit and physically visit them during their next trip to Israel.
