Dear AYA Parents,

Our Dallas community is honored and blessed to have many lone soldiers currently serving, or have served in the IDF. The term,” lone soldier”, refers to a young man or woman who chooses to go to Israel and serve in the IDF without the support of family residing in Israel. Our hearts swell with pride for these individuals who have put their personal lives on hold in order to serve and protect our Land and our Nation.

Due to the current situation in Israel, our chayalim will be spending the joyous holiday of Purim on military bases. Mishloach Manot is an amazing way to bring a bit of Purim and the festive spirit to our heroes in uniform. Your gift of Mishloach Manot will provide a soldier simcha, joy while guarding the front lines of Israel. Connection Israel has partnered with us and will be delivering Mishloach Manot to our Dallas Lone Soldiers –those who are currently serving and those who have served in the IDF.
